PURPOSE: To estimate the amplitude and the frequency of sinusoidal signals and compensate the parasitic capacity of an electronic circuit by calculating the triplets of the differences of sample values of the amplitude and the frequency of sinusoidal signals at respective moments at time intervals. ;CONSTITUTION: An angular speed sensor 10 is so excited by a driver circuit 11 as to make an output signal Vd0 have a prescribed amplitude, controls the gain of a variable amplifier 17, and generates an exciting driving signal Vd. Moreover, a demodulator circuit 18 demodulates a signal Vr to be excited at frequency fo and generates an angular signal Ω. The amplitude and/or the frequency of the driving signal Vd can be estimated by sampling the driving signal by an A/D converter 23 and processing the obtained sample by an amplitude and frequency estimating apparatus 24. A correcting signals generator 25 generates a correction signal εs based on the results, an adder unit 26 subtracts the correction signal from the angular speed signal Ω and generates a corrected angular speed signal Ω'.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
