TRAINING PLACE FOR SCUBA DIVING

PURPOSE: To enable training in environment approximate to the environment at the time of actual diving by providing training place with a deep pool for training diving at the seashore or near the seashore and introducing the sea water therein. ;CONSTITUTION: The training place for scuba diving having a fully open dome and half open dome is installed at the seashore and is internally provided with the pool 7. The sea water is introduced into the pool 7 by a pump. This pool 7 is segmented to a part 17 for beginners, a part 19 for middle class divers and a part 21 for high class divers. These parts are formed respectively to prescribed depths and arches 23 to 27 for diving by the divers are erected therein. Struts 29 are fixed to the top ends of the respective arches 23 to 27 and respective curving guides 31, 33 for the fully open dome and the half open dome are supported. The part 21 for the upper class divers and the part 19 for the middle class divers are provided respectively with a first tide generator 35 and second tide generator 37 which discharge the sea water and bring the sea water into collision against baffle plates 39, thereby forming the flow of the sea water as shown by arrows. The training place is provided with a stall 47, a toilet 49, shower room 51 and a dressing room 53.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
