METHOD FOR MEASURING LEAK CURRENT BETWEEN ELECTRODES OF CATHODE-RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: To precisely measure the leak current between electrodes by applying a prescribed voltage to a high voltage electrode, applying an earth voltage and an intermediate voltage to an intermediate voltage electrode, and measuring the leak currents between the electrodes in the respective cases. ;CONSTITUTION: The movable contact 3c of a change-over switch 3 is switched to fixed contacts 3a, 3b, respectively, in the state where a high voltage which is an operating voltage is applied to grids G3, G5 by a power source 1, and the currents are measured by ammeters 4, 5. When the contact 3c is switched to the contact 3a side, the leak current between the grid G5 and a grid G4 is detected by the ammeter 5 in the state where an earth voltage is applied to the grid G4, and the leak currents between the grid G5 and grids G1, G2, and between the grid 5 and a cathode K are detected. When the contact 3c is switched to the contact 3b side, the leak currents between the G4 lead L of the grid G4 and the grids G1, G2 and between the G4 lead L and the cathode K are detected by the ammeter 4 in the state where an intermediate voltage is applied to the grid 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
