KNITTED FABRIC WINDER IN CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE AND PRODUCTION OF CIRCULAR KNITTED FABRIC

PURPOSE: To provide the subject winder resistant to development of green folds or fine wrinkles on a circular knitted fabric produced, even in the case of producing such a knitted fabric as to combine several kinds of yarns differing in elastic properties from one another, such as a combined elastic knitted fabric. ;CONSTITUTION: This equipment is used for winding, in a roll-shaped way, a cylindrical circular knitted fabric A produced in the knitted fabric-making section of a circular knitting machine. Annularly arranged rolls 50, 60, 70 installed in tiers, as a means 30 for drawing the circular knitted fabric A from the knitted fabric-making section, in a space between a winding means 40 to wind in a roll-shaped way the cylindrical knitted fabric A folded in two and the knitted fabric-making section provided on a knitting needle bed 20; at least part of the annular rolls, i.e. 50 is provided in a revolvingly drivable way in the direction of drawing the knitted fabric A. As a result, tension unevenness is not developed in the circumferential direction of the circular knitted fabric A, and, as the knitted fabric A can be folded in two in such a state as not to apply excessive tension thereto, green folds and/or fine wrinkles are not developed on the fabric, thus improving the quality of the circular knitted fabric A.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
