WEFT-DETECTION APPARATUS OF WATER-JET LOOM

PURPOSE:To perform accurate weft detection without being influenced with noise signal caused e.g. by the fluctuation of water jet. CONSTITUTION:This weft-detection apparatus is provided with a photoelectric sensor placed opposite to the orbit of a beaten weft 16, a signal variation detection means 34 to detect the variation of the signal transmitted from the photoelectric sensor and a comparison means 36 to compare a prescribed standard signal with a signal obtained by the signal, variation detection means 34 at the escape of the weft 16 from the detection part 21 of the photoelectric sensor among the signals transmitted from the signal variation detection means 34 and, when the detected signal level is higher than the standard signal level, to output a signal to inform of the normal weft-insertion.
