PASTE COMPOSITION FOR DENTAL PATTERN RESIN OF MUTUALLY PENETRATED NET STRUCTUERE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To provide the paste composition giving cured products high in strengths and free from stickiness and useful for dental pattern resins by combining a specific urethane (meth)acrylate compound, a specified fatty acid or its derivative, and a photopolymerization initiator. ;CONSTITUTION: The paste composition comprises 50-85 pts.wt. of an urethane (meth)acrylate compound which has a viscosity of at least 600 centipoises at 60°C and which is liquid at 20°C, 10-50 pts.wt. of a ≥16C fatty acid having a melting point of 70-120°C or its derivative, and 0.05-5 pts.wt. (but the total amount of the compounds is 100 pts.wt.) of a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the former two compounds are penetrated into each other to form a continuous net structure. The paste composition can be utilized as a paste composition for dental pattern resins. The fatty acid is preferably a ≥16C fatty acid having a melting point of 70-120°C or its amide, especially 12- hydroxystearic acid or erucic acid amide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
