SELECTING METHOD FOR JACK PATTERN OF SHIELD EXCAVATOR

PURPOSE: To select a more natural jack pattern by selecting the one-way push speed more matched with the required level. ;CONSTITUTION: A distribution map of many one-way push speeds selectable in response to operating conditions of multiple jacks is assumed, and a line segment L_n connecting the direct advance push speed (H_o, V_o) corresponding to the rotation moment required for directly advancing an excavator and the required level (H_req, V_req) is set on the distribution map. The drift quantity of the speed against the required level is divided into the drift quantity in direction, i.e., the distance from the line segment L_n, and the drift quantity in size, i.e., the drift quantity in the direction of the line segment L_n. The drift quantity in direction and the drift quantity in size are weighted to obtain fidelity S. The speed is selected among many levels to minimize this fidelity S, and the optimum jack pattern is selected based on this selected speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
