Described are dyes which contain a fibre-reactive radical of the general formula IMAGE once or twice, also novel amino intermediates of the formula HN(R DEG )-(CH2)3-SO2-Y1. In these formulae, RA is hydrogen or lower alkyl which can be substituted by halogen, hydroxyl, cyano, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, sulphamoyl, sulpho, sulphato or phosphato; R is alkyl having 1 to 6 carbon atoms which can be substituted by halogen, hydroxyl, cyano, lower alkoxy, lower alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, sulphamoyl, sulpho, sulphato, phosphato, phenyl or sulphophenyl, or is phenyl which can be substituted by halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, sulpho and/or carboxyl; X is halogen, cyanoamino, methylsulphonylamino, ethylsulphonylamino, carboxypyridinyl, aminocarbonylpyridinyl or a group of the formula -N(R)-W-(SO2-Y)Z with R, W, X and z having the above- or below-indicated significance; W is alkylene with 3 to 8 carbon atoms which can be substituted by alkoxy, halogen, alkoxycarbonyl, carboxyl, sulpho and/or sulphato or by an optionally sulpho-, carboxyl-, methoxy-, ethoxy-, and/or methyl-substituted phenyl radical or by such an optionally substituted phenyl radical and a sulpho, sulphato or carboxyl group or by a heterocyclic radical; Y is vinyl, beta -sulphatoethyl, beta -thiosulphatoethyl, beta -phosphatoethyl, beta -alkanoyloxyethyl, beta -sulphobenzoyloxyethyl, ( beta -(p-toluenesulphonyloxy)ethyl or beta -haloethyl; z is 1 or 2; R DEG is phenyl which can be substituted by 1, 2 or 3 substituents from the group consisting of halogen, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, sulpho and carboxyl; and Y1 has one of the significances of Y or is beta -hydroxyethyl. The dyes are used for preparing strong and fast dyeings on hydroxyl- and/or carboxamido-containing materials, in particular fibre materials, for example cellulose fibre materials, wool and synthetic polyamide.
