The lip seal for the location opening (2) for the centreboard case and the centreboard (3) has two support strips (5), let into the surfboard body (4) on either side of the location opening (2), as well as two fastening strips (7) which are flush with the profile (6) of the underwater part of the surfboard, are designed as clamping strips and have a sealing lip (8) for clamping to the support strips (5).
