This invention relates to a controlled ignition device for internal combustion engines characterised in that it comprises an electronic control unit which controls: - a valve which divides up the air to control the air delivered to each cylinder, - a water injection unit and - an electronic ignition unit. The control unit is subject to a detonation sensor, a TDC sensor and an RPM sensor to detect the degrees of advance of the detonation, in order to obtain instantaneous combustion of the mixture at TDC.
