PROCESS AND REACTOR OF THERMAL SCRAPPING OF A LOAD CONTAINING AT LEAST ONE HYDROCARBON WITH AT LEAST OF CARBON, IN WHICH THE LOAD IS CIRCULATED IN A METALLIC REACTION ZONE WHOSE EXTERNAL WALL IS IN RELATION THERMAL EXCHANGE WITH A HEATING FLUID; THE REACTION ZONE IS COMPOSED OF AN ALLOY THAT INCLUDES IN WEIGHT: (A) 66 TO 82% NICKEL, (B) 14 TO 18% CHROME, AND (C) 4 TO 6% ALUMINUM. THIS ALLOY, PREVIOUSLY PRE-OXIDIZED, MAY EVENTUALLY BE COATED, IN THE REACTION AREA, WITH AT LEAST ONE LAYER FORMED BY AN OXIDE OF AT LEAST ONE METAL AND / OR A METALLIC NITRIDE AND / OR AT LEAST A SILICIDE OF A METAL. APPLICATION IN VAPOCRACHING AND IN THE DEHYDROGENATION OF HYDROCARBON LOADS.
