1,3,8,10 tetrasubstituted compounds of 4,5,6,7-tetrathiocino-(1,2-b:3,4-b')-diimidazolyl-2,9 dithione of formula (I), wherein R is selected from the class consisting of: C3-C5 linear or branched alkyl, benzyl, 2-thiophenyl-methyl. Therapeutical compositions having antitumor activity containing as the active principle at least one derivative of formula (I), wherein the R substituent is selected from the class consisting of C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl, phenyl, o-tolyl, benzyl, 2-thiophenylmethyl, in combination with suitable excipients and/or diluents.
