FIELD: measuring technology. SUBSTANCE: additional reference point 5 is applied on external outline of unit of wing high-lift devices being fitted, for example, slat 4 in each section being checked; then theoretical sizes are determined between main reference points 2 and 3 and additional reference point 5 in contour lines of carrying unit 1 and unit 4 being fitted. Unit 4 is embraced with flexible coupling 6 provided with read-off devices 7 together with part of carrying unit 1; flexible coupling is secured at points 2, 3 and 5 and fitting of unit 4 is estimated by deflection of actual sizes ±&Dgr;l1, ±&Dgr;l2 between reference points 2 and 5 and 3 and 5 from theoretical sizes L1,L2. EFFECT: extended technological capabilities and enhanced productivity in checking the fitting of outlines of units, type wing high-lift devices to outlines of carrying unit. 1 dwg
