Vortex pipe assembly steam introduced tangentially in sepg. twisted hot and cold flow

摘要

A steam-drying assembly (1) receives an inflow of wet or satd. steam (3) which is then subjected to a dynamic expansion process. The novelty is that: (a) the steam (3) is introduced tangentially into a section of vortex pipe (2) via a jet in a twisted flow pattern where it partially condenses and separates under the influence of gravity (6) into an upward heat flow (7) consisting of super heated dry steam, and a descending cold flow consisting of condensate and cold steam, into a narrowing funnel, (b) the cold flow (8) is guided through a tube (10) bearing cooling fins to a condensate collector tank (11) and drained through a condensate pipe (13).
