The system includes a wideband VHF or UHF power amplifier module (AM), a channel filter (FC) module, an output converter with 6.4 MHz oscillator, modulator module, and input converter (CE). The video signal transmission circuit passes two programme signals through two channels. Each channel has its own modulator/ converter (MC1,MC2) with a surface wave filter (FOS) common to both, followed by separate pre-amplifiers (PA1,PA2) and channel filters (FC1,FC2) followed by a common amplifier (AM) and multiplexer (MV) to output to a common aerial (AE). A satellite demodulator (DS) converts the audio and video satellite signals to baseband signals. Multiplexer and demultiplexer modules are provided before and after the demodulator. The two channels are housed together in a container with an anti-lightning device attached and with integral power supplies. ADVANTAGE - Allows two satellite TV programmes to be re-transmitted simultaneously to smaller area.
