The coupling, consists of a plate (4) with up-turned edges which have holes (5) for connecting pins. The plate fits between the upper end of the bucket or scoop (10) and the lower ends of the digger arm (1) and lever (2). The upper end of the bucket has lugs (12) along its sides for the connecting pins and a single lug (9) at the front to receive a hook (7) on the underside of the plate. The hook is shaped so that once it is engaged with the lug on the bucket, the holes in the other lugs and plate are aligned to receive the coupling pins.
