PURPOSE: To provide a tomb tower which is so constructed that a lock is provided on a door of a storing chamber not to damage the beauty of a tomb, and which can be easily taken in and out only when it is necessary to store a storing material in the storing chamber. ;CONSTITUTION: A tomb tower is so constructed that a door 5 to a storing chamber 3 is provided on a side wall 4 surrounding the storing chamber 3, and a roof 6 is provided on the side wall 4. The door 5 is so constructed that a door plate 7 for blocking up an opening part of the side wall 4 is supported by shafts 10, 11 fitted in holes 8, 9 formed in the upper and lower surfaces of the door plate 7. A lock 15 is provided on the lower part of the door plat 7, and an offering table 17 is disposed on this side of the door plate 7 on a foundation 2 or a base 12 in such a manner as to cover the lower part of the door plate 7 and the lock 15. Thus, an inlet of the storing chamber 2 can be easily opened only at need. As the lock 15 is hidden by the offering table 17, the beauty and dignity of the tomb tower 1 will not be damaged. Furthermore, as the lock 15 is not directly exposed to wind and rain, the life of the lock 15 is elongated. Further, as it is difficult to know how to open the storing chamber 3 of the tomb from the appearance of the tomb, the possibility that the storing chamber 3 of the tomb is damaged by the others can be reduced.
