FOLDING PROCESSING METHOD FOR PRINTING PAPER AND HUMIDIFIER FOR PRINTING PAPER

PURPOSE: Not to cause cracks on a folded line on a coated surface after folding processing with the printed coated surface of printing paper outside, to prevent separation of a cover of the coated surface from a main body of general paper as a part of a stitching needle driven on the folded line at the time of bookbinding and to prevent growth of seams on the cover after bookbinding due to moisture nonuniformity of the cover. ;CONSTITUTION: A folding processing method of printing paper is furnished with an electric discharge machining process to electric discharge machine a coated surface of the printing paper 14 having the coated surface C, a humidifying process to humidify the coated surface C of the printing paper electric discharge machined and a bending process to bend the printing paper with the coated surface outside at a specified position of the printing paper electric discharge machined and humidifying processed. Additionally, a humidifier is furnished with an electric discharge machining device 20 arranged on the side of the coated surface of the printing paper 14 having the coated surface C and to electric discharge machine the coated surface and humidifier main bodies 22a, 22b arranged on the side of the coated surface of the printing paper and to humidify the coated surface electric discharge machined.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
