METHOD FOR PREVENTING INK OF PEN-RECORDER FROM LEAKAGE

PURPOSE: To prevent ink from leaking from the tip of a recording pen which is in contact with a roll paper that stops its moving. ;CONSTITUTION: An elevating/lowering mechanism 4 is placed on both ends of a mounting table 17 for an ink pot 33, and, while a track measuring roller is running for measurement, the table 17 is elevated by the mechanism 4 and an ink I of respective ink pot 33 is clamped at a position where the ink I is supplied to respective recording pens. When feeding of a roll paper is temporarily stopped due to temporary stop of the roller, the table 17 is lowered and clamped at the position where the ink I is not supplied to the respective recording pen. As a result, the ink I can be prevented from leaking from the tip of the recording pen in contact with the roll paper.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
