PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer by blending an ethylene/α olefin/ nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber with a crystalline olefin-based resin, a prescribed crosslinking agent, a specific catalyst and a compatibilizing agent, excellent in flexibility and heat-resistance creep, etc., despite of being thermoplastic. ;CONSTITUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer is obtained by blending (A) 100 pts.wt. of an ethylene-α-olefin-nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber with (B) 5-300 pts.wt. of a crystalline olefin-based resin, (C) 0.5-30 pts.wt. an organopolysiloxane-based crosslinking agent containing an SiH group in the molecule of the formula ((m) is 5-400; R1 to R7 are each H, an alkyl, an aryl, etc.), (D) 0.001-2 pts.wt. of a VIII group transition metal-based hydrosilylated catalyst and (E) 0.5-20 pts.wt. of a compatibilizing agent and dynamically heat- treating the mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
