PURPOSE:To obtain the subject structure, mainly constructed from a lower float unit of a flat lattice structural form, a connecting structure and an upper float unit, providing a main seawater ballast tank in the central part of the lower float unit and auxiliary seawater ballast tanks in four corner parts and having a wide culture area, restoring properties and stability. CONSTITUTION:A structure is mainly constructed from a lower float unit 1 of a flat lattice structural form, a connecting structure 2 and an upper float unit 3 and respectively provided with a main seawater ballast tank 4 in the central part and auxiliary seawater ballast tanks 5 in four corner parts. In order to lower the center of gravity and ensure restoring properties and stability, a balance weight 14 is hung under the lower float unit 1 with four chains 15 which hold the tension state even in the maximum tilting. A submerged position and a floating position where the upper float unit 3 appears on the sea surface can be changed over by injecting and discharging water from the main seawater ballast tank 4 by using an injecting and discharging device. The apparatus is loosely moored by a mooring device so as to permit positional changeover.
