METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MONITORING VOLTAGE STABILITY OF POWER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To enable a voltage stability monitoring device which monitors the voltage stability of a power system to easily and quickly judge the voltage stability of the load bus of the power system. ;CONSTITUTION: The voltage stabilizing state of a power system to be monitored is judged from the differential information of PV curves by calculating the tidal current of a noticeable load bus in the power system from which the voltage stabilized state is to be obtained based on reference buses at, at least, two points. Therefore, highly accurate stability information can be obtained with a small mount of calculation as compared with the conventional judgment method.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
