PURPOSE: To provide a method of applying farm materials such as fertilizer or seed rice to a prescribed position in the rice paddles. CONSTITUTION: This applicator is equipped with a feeding mechanism 2 which can feed a prescribed amount of a farm material in proportion to the running distance of the riding type agriculture machine and a distribution mechanism 3 which can distribute the farm material fed from the feeding mechanism. The farm material fed from the feeding mechanism 2 is distributed by the distribution mechanism 3 to a plurality of outlets formed on the periphery of the rotary disk 5 and sprayed or scattered through the spraying or scattering tubes 7 connected to the outlets.
