PURPOSE: To prevent water content accumulated in a rotor chamber from flowing into a motor side by providing a projecting part on the inner peripheral part of a seal rubber for isolating the rotor chamber housing a rotor and the motor side from each other and also providing a recessed part engaged with the projecting part on the upper surface circumference on the motor endbracket side. ;CONSTITUTION: In a centrifugal separator having a structure in which a seal rubber is used to seal a rotor chamber of a fixed part and a motor 2 for rotating a rotor 4 housing a sample 5 at high speed not to transfer vibration generated by the unbalance of the rotor 4 to the rotor chamber, a projecting part 12 is provided on the inside diameter part of the seal rubber 9, that is, on the lower part of a contact part with a motor endbracket 3, and also a recessed part 11 engaged with the projecting part 11 on the upper surface on the motor endbracket 3 side is provided on the circumference and fitted therein. In this way, when vibration of high frequency occurs by unbalance of the rotor 4, the projecting part 12 of the seal rubber 9 is fixed to the recessed part 11 of the motor endbracket 3, thereby vibration of high frequency is followed up.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
