PURPOSE: To provide an umbilical chord blood taking device and taking appliance capable of rapidly, easily and efficiently taking the umbilical chord blood in a state of lower danger of contamination with bacterium. ;CONSTITUTION: This umbilical chord blood taking device 1 has a replenishing liquid injecting circuit 2 which is connected to either of the umbilical chord artery or the umbilical chord vein, blood taking circuit 3 which is connected to the other of the umbilical chord artery or the umbilical chord vein, a liquid feeding means 24 which is disposed at this replenishing liquid injecting circuit 2, a liquid feeding means 34 which is disposed at this blood taking circuit 3 and a pressure difference forming means 4 which forms a pressure difference in such a manner that the pressure on the replenishing liquid injecting circuit 2 side is higher and the pressure on the blood taking circuit 3 side is lower.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
