PARTITION FOR PETRI DISH AND DIVIDED PETRI DISH WITH PARTITION

摘要

PURPOSE: To make it unnecessary to dispense a medium into each divided section by communicating a plurality of sections in the divided petri dish main body each on the bottom part without bringing the whole or a part of base sides of partitions into close contact with the bottom face of a petri dish main body. ;CONSTITUTION: A sheet-like partition 3 provided with a communicating part 5 is prepd. by punching a polystyrene sheet with a thickness of 1mm. The partition 3 is placed in the center of the inside of a petri dish and a culture tool is prepd. by bonding the wall face of the petri dish main body 1 with the vertical part 6 of the partition and the bottom face of the petri dish main body 1 with each leg part 4 of the partition 3 by using an adhesive. When a medium is filled in the culture tool, as the communicating part 5 is provided on the lower part of the wall of the partition for the petri dish, the medium is spread throughout and therefore, trouble for dispensing the medium is reduced and contamination caused by existing bacteria is decreased.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
