PURPOSE: To reduce the stripes of a woman stocking even using a large packaged cheese by making the winding width of a nylon fiber winding cheese, used in knitting a woman stocking, have a specific value or less. ;CONSTITUTION: Variation is caused in the loop length of knitted fabric following the variation of unwinding tension caused in unwinding a nylon yarn from a cheese to cause stripes due to knitting density unevenness, that is, a mottled pattern, in a finished woman stocking. The variation of unwinding tension (unevenness), the appearance cause for the stripes, substantially depends on the winding shape of a cheese. In a nylon fiber winding cheese for a woman stocking, cheese winding width is made into 90mm or less. The wound angle of the cheese at that time is preferably 7-10 degrees. In a cross knitting type stocking, the nylon fiber winding cheese for the woman stocking is preferably used as a cross knitting yarn.
