In a roving bobbin exchange system applied to a ring spinning frame (1) provided with twin parallel transporting rails (4, 5) arranged at a position right above a creel portion of each side of the ring spinning frame (1), for supporting a bobbin carriage (8) provided with bobbin hangers (15) arranged in twin parallel alignment, when roving bobbins (B) held by a bobbin carriage (8) supported by one of the twin transporting rails (4, 5) , from which rovings are supplied to the respective draft units at one side of the spinning frame, reach an almost exhausted conditions, another bobbin carriage (8) holding full packaged roving bobbins (A) is introduced to the other one of the twin transporting rails (4, 5), and when the roving bobbins of the first bobbin carriage reach an almost exhausted condition, successive unit operations of exchanging rovings being supplied to the corresponding draft units are carried out between each exhausted roving bobbin (B) of the first bobbin carriage (8) and the corresponding one of the full packaged roving bobbins (A) of the second bobbin carriage (8), from one side of the alignment of the draft units to the other side thereof, and then the bobbin carriage (8) on the first transporting rail is discharged therefrom.
