A porter having both a bottom panel and a top panel with openings through which the neck of the packaged bottle extends, the top panel consisting of a central handle panel and an adjacent portion foldably connected to the middle panel. The latter panel also includes a bottle opening and is foldably connected to a central vertical support panel. This device allows the bottle to be placed on the bottom panel and filled by lowering the handle panel, allowing the top panel area to cover the bottle top and pivot down. The support tab surrounds the bottle opening in the top panel to engage the bottleneck shoulder.
