FIELD: manufacture of laminar material. SUBSTANCE: in thermoplastic composite sheet material the colored layer of coating is made as a layer of highly dispersed particles of solid crystaline pigment dispersed in binding resin. The coating is furnished with a layer of uncolored binding resin positioned over the colored layer. Besides, polyvinylbutyral resin, containing components of polyvinyl alcohol within 10 to 35 mass percent, is used as binding resin. Highly dispersed particles of pigment have a specific surface area from 25 to 600 sq.m/g. In manufacture of thermoplastic composite sheet material use is made of uncolored binding resin as a coating applied onto the film bed. Applied onto the above layer is a colored layer of highly dispersed particles of solid crystalline pigment dispersed in binding resin containing solvent. After coating is applied onto the bed it is dried for removal of solvent from binding resin of the colored layer. In the colored layer of coating use is made of pigment, whose particles have a specific surface area from 25 to 600 sq.m/g. Surface tension within 10 to 60 dyn/cm is set between the coating and film bed. Polyvinylbutyral resin, containing components of polyvinyl alcohol within 10 to 35 mass percent, is used as binding resin. Prior to transferring the coating onto the surface of thermoplastic material, the coating surface is coated with an additional layer of uncolored binding resin containing solvent with subsequent drying. The colored coating layer contains soot, whose amount is at least 10% of the total weight of pigment in the colored layer. Colored layer of coating is applied onto uncolored layer of binding resin in a variable thickness. Colored layer in laminar material is made in the form of a layer of highly dispersed particles of solid pigment dispersed in binding resin. The coating has a layer of uncolored binding resin positioned over the colored layer. Polyvinylbutyral film has 15 to 30 mass percent of components of polyvinyl alcohol.
