FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: specimen is proposed for determining intensity factor of stress of steels of which welding building constructions are made (high-plastic steels of minor thickness). The specimen is made as H-beam with cut. The wall, shelves and bearing ribs of H-beam are welded. The cut is T-shaped. The shelf of T-shaped cut is made in specimen shelf perpendicular to its longitudinal axis of symmetry. Cut post is made in the wall along axis of symmetry of specimen lying in wall plane. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of estimation of bearing capability of real steel welding beams for cranes with vertical cracks in walls or of choosing steel quality for them, enhanced quality of material strength tests. 3 dwg
