FIELD: organic chemistry, chemistry of peptides. SUBSTANCE: new heterocyclic compounds, in part, 1-pyridylacetamide compounds that are inhibitors of human leukocyte elastase (elastase of human neutrophilic leukocytes). This inhibition of elastase can be useful tool in pharmacology, diagnostic and related investigations and for mammalian diseases treatment where elastase takes part. Invention involves also intermediate compounds that can be used for synthesis indicated heterocyclic compounds, method for synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, pharmaceutical compositions containing indicated heterocyclic compounds and methods of their application. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis of new lactam dipeptides.
