The invention relates to a method and arrangement for conditioning radar signals. Signals which have been transmitted by a radar equipment and have been reflected on a target are in this case conditioned in two channels in the radar equipment, and are subsequently evaluated. The conditioning in the first of the two channels is carried out by multiple filtering, and the conditioning in the second channel by low-pass filtering, the pick-off of the second channel being implemented on one of the filter stages of the first channel.
