Coded transmission and reception unit for contacting partners with common interest

A coded transceiver has its transmission and receiving unit controlled by a microprocessor. Coding and decoding devices establish a transmission code and verify a reception code. In order to realise automatic search for a partner in relation to a requirement profile, and quickly and with a high success rate during the search, switches (S13, S14) are provided for switch-over between several programming states for entry and storage of coded data as well as several normal transmit and receive states.
