The gaseous mixture to be treated 1 is washed 5 between 0 grade (s) c and - 45 grade (s) by means of a solvent, 6 of the co2 and of the c3 and more in order to produce a current of methane 8 containing at most 2% by mole of co2 and a liquid phase 11 which is rich in co2 and containing at least 80% by mole of the c3 and more of the gaseous mixture 1. The liquid phase 11 is subjected to a demethanization 12, 17 which produces a demethanized rich solvent 27 and a gaseous phase rich in methane 22, then the solvent rich 27 is processed 55 in order to produce a stream of acid gas 44 which is rich in co2 and which contains, expressed in equivalents, methane, less than 10% molar of hydrocarbons, a hydrocarbon cut in c2 and higher 48 containing more than 80% by mole of the c3 and no longer present in the gaseous mixture 1 and a regenerated solvent 34, which is recycled into the zone 5 of the washing.
