PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly perform homing to the origin without adjusting the positional relation for a portion to be detected for homing to the origin and the detection sensor for the portion to be detected. ;SOLUTION: At a first rotation angle θ1 when a detection plate is detected by a proximity sensor, a first detection pole T1 for outputting the first rotation angle data D1 is determined as a reference pole for setting the position of the origin. At the time of homing to the origin, at a second rotation angle θ2 where a detection plate is detected for the first time with the proximity switch, based on a second detection pole T2 outputting a second rotation angle data D2 and a data difference ΔD between the second rotation angle data θ2 and the first rotation angle data θ1, the second detection pole T2, a detection pole immediately ahead of T2, or a detection pole immediately next to the above is set as a reference pole.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
