PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain radio communication in an excellent state by avoiding adverse effect due to fading with a simple configuration in the transmitter. ;SOLUTION: Data to be sent are interleaved by an interleave means 6 and then the data are sent by changing a radiation pattern of an antenna 9 faster than the speed of the interleaving so as to cause high speed fading intentionally, then even when a burst error takes place due to reduction in the reception level, the burst error is dispersed into random errors by de-interleaving at a receiver side. Thus, radio communication is attained in an excellent state. According to the use of the transmitters 2 as above, the radio communication system or the broadcast transmission reception system is built up, where adverse effect due to fading is avoided with a simple configuration and radio communication is attained in an excellent state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
