PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the inside size between a threshold and a head jamb in a house so that a door and a sash may move smoothly. ;SOLUTION: A head jamb vice bar is an I shape column composed of a main column 1, a base metal 2 sand an upper bracket metal 3 provided with a protrusion A in the surface of the base metal 32 is its center and a recessed part B in the lower end of the main column 1 and having a bolt C fixed on the upper bracked metal 3 and a nut D on the upper end of a the main column 1. The height from the threshold 'a' to the head jamb 'b' is kept to the height that a door and a sash may smoothly move by inserting the head jamb vice bar between the head jamb 'a', which is pushed down by snow, and the threshold 'b' and the main column 1 is rotated in the direction of making the total height of the prop high.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
