PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the recovery of root vegetables, dropped and fed from a conveyor into a housing bag while enabling the avoidance of damage due to the drop impact with a simple structure. ;SOLUTION: This structure for a housing part for root vegetables C of a harvester for harvesting the root vegetables C is equipped with a bag supporting tool 21 for hanging and supporting a housing bag 8 so as to enable the free vertical shaking and regulation with a cylinder 23. The conveying terminal end side of a conveyor 7 enters the interior of the housing bag 8 following the lifting and regulating of the bag supporting tool 21 from the lowest descended position D. The entry length of the conveyor 7 into the supporting bag 8 is increased with increasing lifting angle of the bag supporting tool 21 to change the bag supporting tool 21 into the first installing posture U and start the recovery of the root vegetables C. The bag supporting tool 21 is successively lowered and regulated to the second installing posture M and further the lowermost position D with increasing amount of the recovered root vegetables C in the housing bag 8 and eliminating the housing space in the housing bag 8. Thereby, the root vegetables C are recovered while keeping the head from the conveyor 7 to the root vegetables C in the housing bag 8, so as to hardly cause the damage to the root vegetables C.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
