PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the transaction medium issuing device, transaction medium, and device and system for pass medium issue which gives facilities to the purchaser of a pass medium, and also relieve the congestion on purchase of the pass medium. ;SOLUTION: A purchaser can purchase a prepaid card on which a line section code and the amount of prepaid money are recorded by pressing the line section button of the transaction medium issue device and inputting the line section code indicating the line. When this card in inserted into the pass medium issuing device, a prepaid card processing part reads the line section code and the amount of prepaid money out of the card and a main control part displays a station name selection screen corresponding to the line section code. The purchaser selects a target station name 107a on the station name selection screen. The main control part issues a train ticket which has the selected station name 107a as the target station by a ticket issuing part and returns the card after subtracting the purchase amount from the amount of prepaid money.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
