PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor which is free from the deterioration of electric characteristics over a long period of time and is repetitively usable by using a mixture composed of binder resins having no glass transition points or having just one thereof. ;CONSTITUTION: The deterioration of the electrical characteristics occurs in the poorness of the compatibility of the resins to be used as the binder resins with each other. The method of checking the compatibility is executed by measuring the glass transition point of the resin mixed as specified. The mixture system is regarded to be compatible if the glass transition points do not exist or the developed glass transition point is one point not caused by the glass transition point of the single resin. The compsn. having the zero glass transition point or just one thereof is adopted as the judgment of the compatibility if the mixture system of the plural resins, such as polycarbonate and polyester and/or polyarylate is used for the photoreceptor. Thereby, the electrophotographic photoreceptor having the improved durability is obtd.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
