MANUFACTURE OF BAR CODE LABEL, AND BAR CODE LABEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and inexpensively manufacture the bar code label, which is superior in chemical resistance and environmental resistance. ;SOLUTION: Bar code label paper 1 is held between prepregs 2a and 2b, and those are thermally pressed and then cut in a necessary shape to obtain the bar code label 7. The bar code label 7 which is thus manufactured is protected by a jacket obtained by thermally pressing the prepregs 2a and 2b, so its chemical resistance and environmental resistance are superior. The protective jacket of the bar code is transparent, so an existent bar code reader is usable as it is.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
