PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new coke charging device for a dry type coke extinguishing facility, capable of easily performing the exchange of empty coke receiving bucket B with a filled coke receiving bucket B. ;SOLUTION: This coke charging device consists of a coke conveying device and a coke charging device. The coke conveying device consists of an electric locomotive (L) and a flatcar for buckets (W) and these are arranged on rails (2) along a coke oven (1), and an empty or filled coke receiving bucket (B) can be loaded or unloaded directly or through a carriage (C) on the flatcar (W). The coke charging device consists of a bucket winding up tower (3), a bucket winding down tower (4) and a crane (6), and the filled coke receiving bucket (B) is unloaded from the conveying device and the empty coke receiving bucket (B) is loaded on the conveying device at the lower parts of the winding up tower (3) and the winding down tower (4) respectively by the travelling of the conveying device on the rails (2).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
