PIPE JOINT FOR CATCH BASIN AND INVERT MEMBER AND CATCH BASIN USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint for a catch basin, an invert member and a catch basin, which can be easily manufactured and assembled, and can be precisely positioned, relative to one another, and which allows sewage to flow smoothly. ;SOLUTION: A pipe joint 2 has a through-hole 22 and is inserted in an opening formed in an outer wall of a basin body, and also has an invert receiving part 21 at an end face positioned inside of the basin body. The invert receiving part 21 has an arcuate shape having an inner diameter larger than the inner diameter of the through-hole 22, having its inner peripheral surface so as to define a step part with the inner peripheral surface of the through-hole 22. An invert member has, in its principal surface, a groove serving as a flow passage, and on the side remote from the groove, an a recessed part having a peripheral surface having a shape complementary with the inner peripheral shape of the invert receiving part 21, being supported at the inner peripheral surface of the receiving part 21. The inner peripheral surface of the groove defines a flow surface passage which is continuous with no step parts, with respect to the inner surface of the through-hole 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
