PICKING-UP AND TOTALIZING METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL OF ELECTRIC FACILITY CONSTRUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and speedily pick up and totalize construction materials of electric facility construction by necessary quantities. ;SOLUTION: Drawings are managed in plant units by programming CAD software on a personal computer (1-9). Three-dimensional information is given cable route materials on the respective drawings and information on which route material on other drawings the respective route materials have connection relation with is given to grasp the route material connections of the whole plant (10-15). The start-point equipment and end-point equipment of a cable are inputted, the shortest route between them is highlighted and displayed, and its quality is indicated. All the shortest routes are displayed on a screen and information for determining a route is displayed (16-21). Those procedures are followed to automatically pick up and totalize the construction materials.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
