PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress temperature measurement error caused by a plurality of emissivity values and an arithmetic problem to improve the precision of measurement by preventing the function relation between wavelength power ratio and emissivity for determining the emissivity from the wavelength power ratio or radiant intensity of the heat radiant light from a body to be temperature-measured having a plurality of wavelength from being many-valued functional. ;SOLUTION: The heat radiant light from a body 1 to be temperature-measured is incident on spectral parts 5A, 5B. As the spectral part 5A, an optical filter for transmitting a light having a prescribed wavelength is used, it outputs a light having wavelength λ1, and this light is converged by a photoelectric converting part 7A to output a brightness temperature S1. The spectral part 5B outputs a light having a wavelength λ2 by a prescribed optical filter, and this light is converged by a photoelectric converting part 7B to output a brightness temperature S2. An emissivity calculating part 13A determines the emissivity ε1 from an EPR 1 outputted from an emissivity power ratio(EPR) calculating part 11A by use of a data table according to the straight line regressing a curve.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
