PURPOSE: To widen controlling range of reactor water level maintaining the steam water separation performance of a separator providing the separator with a restriction. CONSTITUTION: Downstream of a shroud head penetration hole 60 provided with a curvature 62 of smooth path cross sectional area and welding 64 without sudden difference in flow path surface, a shroud head 112 and a stand pipe 113 are connected. At the top of 113, separator shrouds 6, 20 and 30 fixed with a guide fin 4 are connected each other. A restrictor 70 having a smaller opening cross sectional area than the flowpath cross sectional area of steam exhaust 38 is connected to the top end of 38 in the constitution of the separator.
