CONTINUOUS PLASMA FUSION METHOD OF CONCRETE STRUCTURE AND FUSION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to execute plasma fusion work which uses a consumption electrode in order to destroy a concrete structure in continuous mode for a long time, avoiding from any restrictions imposed by the length of an electrode. ;SOLUTION: A metallic band 1A, which is an outer hollow electrode, is continuously supplied into a seal box 6 where plasma gas is supplied under the application of pressure, thereby bending the band so that its cross section may be disk-shaped. A metal rod or a pipe 2A, which is an inner electrode, is continuously supplied into the hollow pipe formed in such a fashion described above. An insulator is placed between the outer and inner electrodes. Gas is arranged to pass between the outer and inner electrodes, thereby generating an arc on an open end so that a plasma gas may be produced. This plasma gas is sprayed to a concrete structure. Fusion can be executed continuously by forming the above electrodes with the consumption of the electrodes.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
