PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A LAMINATE

The invention relates to a process and a device for producing a laminate of at least two foil webs in which equidistantly repeated stamped structures are applied to the foil web in a stamping device and in which, after the stamped structures have been applied, the foil webs are adhesively secured together in such a way that the stamped structures of the secured foil webs are in a given relative position. In order to to be able to combine several foil webs into a laminate as simply as possible and precisely matched, the foil webs are taken one after the other to the same stamping device, where indentical positions markings are stamped into the foil web in a first part of the stamping device and then a characteristic foil structure is stamped into each foil web in a second, exchangeable section of the stamping device, the second part of the stamping device being exchanged after each passage of a foil web through the stamping device. Summation errors owing to the different heat expansions of the foil webs on whole-surface bonding is prevented by the prior application of bonding points.
