Layered product comprising a warp- or weft knitted terry fabric glued to a support web and method for its manufacture

The layered fabric is composed of a warp or weft (1) knitted material with loops (4), laminated to a supple support. The loops (4) have a height where at least one of the two filaments (6) intersects at least one filament of the warp and/or weft at a foot (5) interval for this filament. This is in relation to the intervals of the warps and/or wefts for each loop (4), in plan, against the warps and wefts (2,3). Also claimed is manufacture of the layered fabric.
